I have been attending Emer Lawlor on and off for approximately 6 years. I originally saw her for general support with pregnancy on my first child and later went more regularly to support recovery for full uterine prolapse and anxiety. I chose Emer as she was recommended by someone I trusted, I also liked that she had a nursing background. The treatment itself was always extremely relaxing and enjoyable. As a busy working mother, I found it very comforting to be minded as Emer tends to do. In between treatments I found a huge improvement in my ability to cope with stressful circumstances which were beyond my control. I also found, physically, to be less tired and all systems seemed to work better. Acupuncture with Emer was a huge factor in my recovery. I would have no hesitation in recommending Emer.

Her professionalism and friendly manner meant I looked forward to our sessions. We always had a lovely chat but also discussed any medical issues. Emer has such a kind and caring manner. It sometimes felt like a therapy session too! I would always feel so much lighter after each session. Emer’s medical knowledge as a nurse is an added bonus. She always offered her support by sending on articles or other resources to any query I had. The view overlooking Dublin Bay makes it a very relaxing treatment, adding to the overall holistic experience. I look forward to attending Emer’s clinic in the future.

Emer is an amazing acupuncturist whom I have attended many times over the years for different ailments , most recently a ongoing knee issue . She has a wonderful manner and her acupuncture is an enjoyable and restful experience. I could not recommend her highly enough .

I would absolutely recommend Emer. I realised after several sessions with Emer in the last year that I had actually attended her clinic nearly 20 years ago but because of the change of address didn't realise at first it was the same Acupuncturist! Back then I was suffering from awful migraines in the lead up to my college finals and only for Emer I would not have gotten through the exams. Fast forward almost 20 years and Emer is once again helping me. My most recent ailment was pregnancy related sinusitis and headaches which were really severe and after a few sessions Emer has released all that tension and my headaches have stopped. The cherry on top is the beautiful calming room looking over the sea!
